I haven't typed a journal in years so it feels weird to be back! Honestly when the initial eclipse update rolled out I wasn't thrilled, but admittedly I have a lot of nostalgia for dA since this is where I got started drawing so I always find myself back here >w<

I have made a lot of big life changes in the last couple years between the pandemic and a big move back to my hometown. I was previously working as a graphic designer pre-pandemic but once lockdown was in full force I lost my job and was forced to pursue my art hobby full-time. Which, honestly turned out better than I could have expected! I've learned so much since doing so and I am really excited to be back at it here!! ;w;//

I didn’t realize I’d yet to write a journal in 2020, so why not write up something while the world is in turmoil. I’m not sure how many accounts still follow my dA at this point, so this might be redundant, but I feel an update was needed so here goes:

I do have plans to continue posting to dA even though the eclipse update is a little hard to swallow! I faltered on my posting when I attended college while pursuing my graphic design degree and professional job, but upon graduation and eventual termination of my job due to COVID-19; no time is better than the present to get back to it.

I plan to pursue my freelance full-time come the fall! My newly created LLC is thriving and I will be attending cons to sell my products when things fully reopen, but in the meantime I take commissions through my Patreon, which can be found here: Patreon.com/Boltie

I’m excited to get back to doing what I love full-time... design was not my passion, so maybe this pandemic ended up being a good thing for me. Feel free to note or ask me any questions you have! I’m happy to give a quote for custom work.
